Description

NGC 6397  a globular cluster in the constellation Ara is one of the two nearest globular clusters to Earth at about 7,800 light-years. The other is M4.
It evolutionary age (based on evolutionary models) is about 13,400 ± 800 million years. The cluster contains around 400,000 stars and is one of at least 20 globular clusters of the Milky Way Galaxy that have undergone a core collapse into a very dense stellar agglomeration.

Despite some highly variable seeing and a waxing first quarter  moon, I got just enough sub-frames left after rigorous rejection in sub-frame selector to get a fair result so it would be nice to have another crack when conditions are more favourable.
